I have a diploma in translation from and into Italian, English and French and a degree in conference interpreting from and into Italian, English and French from the SSLMIT of the University of Trieste. Translation and interpreting is how I started to transfer ideas from a language and a culture into another, and how I started to love and play with words.
Since 1990 I have been translating written texts in several fields, mainly psychology, psychoanalysis, media, publishing, architecture, cinema, the arts but also finance and fashion.
Since 2002 I have been a literary translator from English and French into Italian, translating children and adult fiction and non-fiction, graphic novels and comics.
Since 2003 I have been translating for the theatre and since 2007 I work with BAM Teatro (www.bamteatro.com ) for international projects, negotiating translation and representation rights from major British and North American literary agencies.
